WWW, aka WorldWide Women

International Women’s Day might have been on the 8th of March, but the ismartmoms team wants to dedicate the whole of this month to moms of kids on the autism spectrum!

Over the next few days, we’ll feature some amazing mom vloggers with kids on the spectrum who inspire us.

Over recent years, there has been a steady rise in the use of social media through various platforms. One of the facets of this is vlogging.  A ‘vlog’ is a video blog; a record of your daily life and experiences which are filmed and published on the internet.

There has also been a rise in vloggers who are mothers of children on the autism spectrum. It is incredible to see these moms share their unfiltered and authentic experiences and the ups and downs that they face with the world. A mother going through similar experiences with her child could find support through a vlog like this.

These vlogs also provide a platform for mothers to interact and share their opinions, tips or experiences with other moms. Eventually, the comment section of the vlog is transformed into a supportive community of these mothers who have each other’s backs.

Let’s celebrate this women’s day (month) by getting to know some amazing mom vloggers with kids on the autism spectrum!
